How Ordinary Teams Achieve Amazing Results

Book & Inventory

Over the last eight years, we've delivered workshops and presentations on five continents. We've worked with corporations, government agencies, community organizations, universities, and professional associations. It began with the book and has expanded with the development of the Extraordinary Teams Inventory (ETI). As others have joined us in helping teams move toward extraordinary, we ended up with even more materials. Some of our favorites are described below.

Extraordinary Teams for Leaders

An overview of the core concepts first described in the book and further refined in the ETI. Useful for leaders currently unfamiliar with our work. An abbreviated version of this session can be designed for executives who are considering using Extraordinary Groups as a centerpiece for the development of their organization's culture. (2–7 hours)

Extraordinary Teams for Trainers, Consultants, Coaches, and Facilitators

An introduction to our ideas especially adapted to people who regularly work with teams. (3–7 hours)

Introduction to the Extraordinary Teams Inventory (ETI)

A short workshop for individuals and teams who want to know more about the ETI and are considering using it. This workshop could precede purchase of the extensive ETI materials offered through HRDQ. (3 hours)

ETI Team Training, Part I

In this tailored workshop, one of us authors or our associates will facilitate a teams discussion of their ETI report, a decision about whether or not to take action as a team to improve, and if so the development of action plans. (4–6 hours)

ETI Team Training, Part II

Building off ETI Training Part I, this next facilitated session would dive more deeply into the strengths and growth areas of how a particular team functions. Designed specifically for a particular team, this could include further exploration on the core concepts of and extraordinary team, skill development, and personal awareness.(1–1.5 days)

ETI for Organizations

A combination of consultation and training, this workshop helps organization leaders decide how to make extraordinary teams concepts and the ETI a vital piece in their overall effort to change their culture, systems, and effectiveness. (1–2 days)

ETI as a Coaching Tool

The inventory has great potential as a tool for coaches guiding team leaders and teams. This workshop is offered at two levels: for coaches new to extraordinary teams and those previously familiar extraordinary teams concepts. It is led by coaches for coaches. (1.5–2 days)

With these ideas as a starting point, we would like to talk with you about what we could create for you, your team, or your organization. Contact us and one of us will be in touch with you.
